Norton Uninstall Deluxe lets you easily clean up unwanted programs and files from your system to free up disk space. It also provides protection by monitoring system changes with InstallGuard while you install new programs.
The first time you start Norton Uninstall Deluxe, you will see the SafetyScan tool running.
SafetyScan performs a complete scan of all files on local, fixed disks and builds a database that keeps track of all the files on your system including file size, location and interdependencies. The creation of this database will take a few minutes. This information in the SafetyScan database is what allows Norton Uninstall Deluxe to safely manage files and programs. After the database is built, SafetyScan updates the database each time you start Norton Uninstall Deluxe.
You can access every command of Norton Uninstall Deluxe from its main window:
The left column contains four main topics. Click on one topic to make the functions related to it appear in the right column of the Norton Uninstall main window.
First, go to the Program Overview section. It will give you general information about Norton Uninstall Deluxe functions and facilities.
In the Program Cleanup, Disk Cleanup and System Watch sections, click on
the More Info icon
next to the name of a function to have
detailed information about it.
At any time, you can access Norton AntiVirus online help by hitting the F1
key whilst in the software or by pressing the 
button on the Norton Uninstall Deluxe main
window.
